Controlling Manager, Core Dx – France ACCA Careers is seeking a Controlling Manager for our Core Diagnostics in France. The role involves driving financial performance, shaping strategic decisions, and serving as the trusted advisor to the Managing Director. About The Opportunity As a high‑impact role, you will combine financial expertise with business acumen to influence outcomes across FP&A, Acquisition Support, Value Creation, Customer Compliance and Order Entry. You will lead a team of 4 talented professionals, guiding their development and driving excellence across all processes. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain appropriate Finance/Business Support structures for the France region. Manage Planning, Reporting and Analysis processes to ensure timely and accurate forecasting, and develop roadmaps and mitigations to meet short- and long‑term financial objectives. Drive the financial IBP process, monitoring quality, accuracy, and process consistency. Review and analyze monthly financial results to drive efficient communication and continuous improvement. Provide financial counsel to the General Manager for deal evaluation and other ad‑hoc analyses. Establish and maintain strong customer compliance tools and controls. Initiate, develop, implement, and monitor Economic Profit and GMI programs in the France region. Oversee Order Entry / Customer Admin performance and processes for the France region. Create and maintain a system of controls, implementing and monitoring Abbott policies and procedures. Lead talent development – train, develop and coach Finance staff. Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements. Key Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance (Master’s preferred). Experience: 4–6 years in senior finance roles (e.g., Controller, Head of FP&A) with proven leadership experience. Skills & Attributes: Strong relationship builder able to influence across a matrix organization. Assertive, results‑driven, and resilient under pressure. Exceptional organizational and decision‑making skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel and SAP. Fluent in French and English (additional languages a plus).
