Responsibilities
- Update SIMPACK models according to current modeling rules.
- Perform railway dynamics simulations in compliance with the project's calculation standards and methodologies.
- Conduct APTA, Y/Q and MCAT calculations to ensure conformity with project requirements.
- Study the roll behavior of railway vehicles.
- Prepare associated technical documentation and present findings to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent with a specialization in mechanical engineering, structural dynamics or railway systems.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar roles.
- Proficiency in SIMPACK or an equivalent multibody simulation (MBS) software.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and good interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in English.
