Overview
You will ensure the continuity of cartographic projects within the IM France team as part of environmental studies, monitoring of environmental rehabilitation works, and geotechnical studies. Creation and updating of GIS databases; Selection, processing and analysis of spatial data; Cartographic production using ArcGIS Pro; Improving and updating cartographic standards; Configuration of ESRI suite tools (Survey123, Field Maps, etc.) for field data collection; Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuity of cartographic projects within the IM France team in environmental studies, monitoring of environmental rehabilitation works, and geotechnical studies.
- Create and update GIS databases.
- Select, process, and analyze spatial data.
- Produce cartography using ArcGIS Pro.
- Improve and update cartographic standards.
- Configure ESRI suite tools (Survey123, Field Maps, etc.) for field data collection.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bac+2/3 equivalent (2–3 years post-secondary) in GIS, geomatics, geography, or surveying, with initial professional experience in GIS/Geomatics.
- Self-driven and meticulous; you should demonstrate curiosity and an open mind.
- Essential skills and knowledge: ArcGIS Pro, ESRI suite (ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps), JavaScript.
- Experience with EQuIS (Earthsoft), Surfer, ETL tools, Python, SQL, and PIX4D is a plus.
- Language: English – B2 level required.
