Join MF Brands as our Head Of Operational Safety Security and safeguard our people and assets
About the role- Serve as the key security contact for Lacoste, Gant, Aigle, The Kooples and Tecnifibre middle management.
- Act as the primary contact for MF Brands Health & Safety roles.
- Respond to minor safety and security incidents or requests promptly.
Own Scope:
- Manage operational safety and security measures, ensuring the protection of physical assets and the safety of employees.
- Provide guidance on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and security best awareness practices.
- Conduct audits and campaigns for critical assets to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain protocols for physical security and safety incident response.
- Investigate physical security breaches, incidents, and workplace accidents.
- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to reduce shrinkage and fraud.
- Train Retail Coordination positions on loss prevention techniques, security awareness, and safety practices.
- Monitor loss prevention systems and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Investigate severe incidents of theft, fraud, and workplace accidents, and develop corrective action plans.
- Implement and oversee OHS programs to ensure compliance with health and safety MF Brands commitments.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Support the MF Brands Global Vice President Safety Security in incident response and crisis management activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and security within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in security management, loss prevention, and/or OHS.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, loss prevention techniques, and OHS regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in safety security management is a plus.
Needs a solid understanding of security systems, loss prevention techniques, and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations. This includes the ability to develop and implement effective security measures and loss prevention strategies, as well as managing compliance with OHS standards.
Managerial SkillsThis role requires good organizational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day operations effectively, oversee safety programs, and conduct audits and inspections. The ability to step in as interim MF Brands Global Vice President Safety Security highlights the need for competent leadership skills.
Human Relations SkillsStrong communication skills are crucial for training staff, guiding middle management, and promoting a culture of safety and security across the organization. Interpersonal skills are also important for interacting with various stakeholders and handling incident responses.
