About the Role The Medical Congress Manager is responsible for the strategic orchestration and successful delivery of medical activities across assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 global congresses, spanning all therapy areas. Key Responsibilities Act as the key medical point of contact, ensuring alignment with Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and Global External Engagement (GEE) objectives, while driving excellence in congress planning, execution, and post‑event evaluation. Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure medical congress deliverables are in alignment with the GEE 3‑year congress roadmap and Global Medical Objectives. Actively participate in and lead workstreams within the Global Congress Core Team. Coordinate medical booth design and content development and approval for assigned Tier 1 and 2 congresses, including evolution and implementation of the modular booth design. Ensure delivery of all outputs in accordance with regulatory and client‑defined compliance guidelines. Manage and coordinate stakeholder requirements with all third‑party suppliers and internal service providers. Identify and manage preparation of supportive meeting planning materials. Operate within budget limitations for each assigned congress and support budget tracking as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Strong experience in congress and project/asset management, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. Previous experience working with procurement teams and external vendors/agencies is desirable. Strong budget management experience. International exposure or experience in a multicultural working environment. Excellent communication skills. English fluency.
