With 237 rooms and a rooftop terrace above Boulevard des Dames, the hotel sits at the heart of Marseille’s culture, right on your doorstep. The Hotel Operations Manager will lead daily operations, coach the team, and ensure guests feel completely at home. Responsibilities Lead your team, fostering professional and personal development through coaching and regular feedback, while creating a positive team atmosphere as a role model. Ensure effective duty and holiday schedules, smooth work processes, and think ‘out of the box’ by critically questioning existing processes. Take charge of daily operations, roll up your sleeves, lead briefings, and demonstrate what exceptional service truly means. Live the Ruby Spirit and execute our internal styles and quality standards. Support your Hotel Manager in recruiting the best talents and building a strong team. Handle monthly closings, inventories, invoice control, payroll preparations, and regular orders for F&B and operating supplies (SOE). Ensure compliance with HACCP, occupational safety, fire protection, and other legal regulations. Collect, analyze, and respond to guest feedback, concerns, or complaints, finding creative and charming solutions to ensure guests are willing to revisit. Qualifications Completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or a degree in hospitality or business administration. Experience in an operational leadership role or a similar position in lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy. Good knowledge of POS, PMS, and business management. A motivating, charismatic leader with authenticity and loyalty, leading both team and playing team player. A warm and welcoming personality with excellent communication skills.
