At LEM, we help our customers and society accelerate the transition to a sustainable future.Our global team of 1,700 professionals which spans over 15 countries is dedicated to converting technology potential into powerful solutions, which enable the decarbonization of the world.A leading company in electrical measurement, LEM engineers the best solutions for energy efficiency and electrical mobility, ensuring our customers, systems are optimized, reliable and safe.LEM is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange since 1986, with the ticker symbol LEHN.The future needs our ingenuity; we need your Spark.Role PurposeAs a Product Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the Product lifetime.Context and Main MissionsYour responsibilities will include but not limited to:Deploy the quality culture and the quality improvement plan and tools to achieve the quality objectives and physical indicators in perimeter of responsibility within the project core team and during the product lifetime,Ensure that the products are designed and manufactured according to the LEM processes, the regulations and the customers’ requirements (APQP, ppm commitment, ISO standards, directives – RoHS, CE, UL. -…) as a WORLD CLASS SUPPLIER able to reach the MADE BY LEM everywhere,Become the customer quality contact person and meet the relevant information needs (customer APQP tracking, audit support, 8D communication).ProfileTrack record in process and/or R&D, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain is a strong asset (Product and Process development, supplier collaboration, parts readiness, logistics impacts on quality);Experience: Minimum 5 years in Project Quality within an automotive environment—preferably in a large/structured organization with Functional Safety processes and APQP/PPAP exposure.Solver Mindset through strong analytical and logical thinking, pragmatic and Risk Chaser through standard enforcement and variability hunting;Able to influence in a matrix environment, proactive communication and stakeholder management;Willingness to travel up to 25% of the timeComfortable working with multicultural teams & English fluent.Main knowledge and skills:Quality standard ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 22163 (IRIS), ISO 26262Quality Core Tools (APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Control plan,PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), MS A (Measurement System Analysis))Statistics (Capability study, R&R study, DOE, Weibull analysis)Micro-electronics & MechanicsProblem-solving tools for 8DProject managementTechnical Cleanliness (ISO16232 – VDA19)What We OfferImpactful role at the heart of projects in renewable energy and emobility.International, collaborative culture with exposure to global customers and suppliers.Learning, development, and internal mobility opportunities.Flexibility (2 days remote work).A mission-driven company contributing to a more sustainable world.We are committed to equal opportunity and welcome applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of gender, background, identity, or experience.Ready to make a difference?
