Group Manager, Methods and Industrialization

We are offering a permanent position based at our offices in Lyon (69), at our STIPLASTICS site in Saint-Marcellin (38), or at our ROVIPHARM site in Val-Revermont (01)

Your assignment:

Reporting to the Group Technical Director, you will ensure the industrialization of new products and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across all of the Group’s sites, in compliance with the regulatory requirements specific to the medical device sector.

You will also manage a team of four employees.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing new projects:

• Defining the industrialization processes necessary for the launch of new products.
• Developing technical and financial specifications.
• Monitoring their implementation both internally and externally.
• Drafting technical manuals and instruction sheets for production departments
• Calculating and ensuring production costs
• Participating in testing new equipment
• Managing risk mitigation by leading working sessions at each project phase
• Conducting qualifications for specific machines and equipment

Continuous Improvement of Existing Systems:

• Lead initiatives to continuously improve existing processes and methodological tools
• Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement and risk management tools (CDCF, FMEA, SADT, etc.)
• Train teams on new processes
• Verify timelines, operating procedures, and process organization
• Propose adjustments to production tools and resources based on the company’s needs
• Identify equipment and methods to streamline production
• Monitor new technologies

Required skills:

• A master’s degree (Bac +5) or an engineering degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, plastics engineering, or an equivalent field
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role (industrialization, methods, or industrial project management), ideally gained in the plastics industry
• Team management experience is a plus
• Experience in a highly regulated industrial environment, such as the medical device sector, is highly valued.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement, risk analysis, and project management tools.
• Professional-level technical English
• Weekly travel to our sites in Val Revermont (01) and Saint Marcellin (38)
