Our team of 700+ people (still growing) operates across France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, Belgium 🇧🇪, and Canada 🇨🇦. 🚀 What you'll build and who you'll work with Role You’ll lead 6-15 engineers across multiple crews, working closely with product managers, designers, support operations, and data scientists. You're the bridge between technology and real member impact. In this role, you will: Set technical direction by balancing debt with features, establishing quality standards through code reviews, and driving operational excellence in monitoring and security Build talent density through strategic hiring, honest performance management, and creating engaging technical challenges that excite engineers Enable effective collaboration across crews by fostering psychological safety, facilitating knowledge sharing, and addressing team dynamics proactively Drive strategic alignment with product partners, improve development efficiency using modern tools (AI, Cursor, Dust), and ensure realistic commitments that balance technical needs with business goals Stay hands‑on with architecture decisions, technical problem-solving, and maintaining your engineering skills while developing as a leader. ⚡ Why this role is special Dual impact: Shape both technical excellence and team growth - your engineers become better while building better products Leadership growth: Influence engineering culture, mentor future leaders, and drive technical strategy that shapes the future of healthcare delivery 🔍 What we're looking for Leadership experience 3-5 years managing engineering teams with a track record of building high‑performers Experience scaling teams and establishing engineering excellence standards Technical foundations Strong technical background with the ability to guide architectural decisions Experience with modern development practices and AI‑assisted development tools Recent hands‑on technical experience (2-3 years) What we value You balance technical debt with feature delivery while maintaining quality You develop people as much as you develop products Clear progression in your management career - increasing team size, scope, and strategic impact Mission alignment Healthcare technology and innovation excite you You understand that great engineering teams are built on psychological safety and continuous learning 🌍 How we work Location: You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.
