Responsibilities
- Define and drive the HSE vision of the site and embed a zero-incident culture
- Lead and develop the local HSE team and act as the site HSE expert
- Build, communicate and monitor the site HSE strategy and annual plans, aligned with global and regional directions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mars corporate standards
- Implement and maintain HSE management systems, procedures and policies
- Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Use a data-driven approach to prioritize actions and influence site leadership
- Collaborate with Occupational Health & Wellness teams for injury case management
- Own and execute site security requirements
- Manage risk management activities, asset conservation and property loss control
- Drive timely actions following third-party audits and risk assessments
- Act as a member of the Factory Management Team and regional HSE community
Requirements
- Engineer degree with 2–3 years of experience in Safety and/or Environment
- Specialization in Safety / Environment / Quality Management / Risk Assessment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards in Safety, Environment and Quality
- Experience in HSE systems, procedures, audits and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence, engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision making
- Fluent in English & French
