Director of Corporate Third Parties Sourcing

This is a full-time position based at the Virbac headquarters in Carros, reporting to the Head of Corporate Sourcing.As the Director of Corporate Third Parties Sourcing, you will hold a key position within the Corporate Sourcing Department. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the best conditions for costs, security, and compliance for your sourcing scope. You will manage supplier relationships to support Virbac's strategy and oversee the corporate management of your sourcing segment. Your primary mission will be to define and coordinate the TP sourcing policy in line with the group's global strategy, while ensuring cost optimization, security of supply, and the search for innovation.**Key Responsibilities*** Leading the TP Sourcing Policy: + Propose and coordinate the sourcing policy for your scope in line with the global strategy, translate it into action plans and SMART objectives, and promote best sourcing practices within your group scope. + You will guarantee quantitative and qualitative results that contribute to the Corporate Sourcing annual objectives.* Cost Optimization: + Propose ambitious budget projections for savings. + Identify performance levers by sourcing segments, and validate consultation/negotiation plans for an optimal cost and coverage level. + Ensure cost reduction and control of sourcing budgets according to objectives.* Securing Supplies: + Identify at-risk supplies, propose and implement suitable solutions to reduce the risk of shortages. + You will lead buyers' actions to ensure effective contracts and partnerships that protect Virbac from supplier risks, and guarantee a low level of backorders in line with group objectives.* Strategic Sourcing and Intelligence: + Identify new strategic partners in the market, get involved in specialized networks, stay updated on best market practices, and propose innovative sources or products for the group. + Ensure a high level of partnership with strategic suppliers and a forward-looking vision of the business.* Alliance Management (CDMO/CMO TP): + Coordinate the design and improvement of the Alliance Management process with CDMO/CMO TP. + You will ensure the process is applied for development projects and industrial transfers, and motivate internal stakeholders (MSAT, R&D, QA, GMBO, CreA, Legal, Supply, Finance, NPR) to integrate supplier constraints.* Team Management: + Define the organization and allocate resources. + Set SMART objectives for direct reports, follow up on and support employees, evaluate their performance, and propose training actions. + You will guarantee the achievement of qualitative and quantitative objectives for the team and coordinate the TP activity of buyers in the group's countries within a matrix organization. **Qualifications*** Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Sourcing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.* Experience: 15 years of experience in a similar leadership role, with strong expertise in the sourcing of raw materials and/or technical products, acquired in the pharmaceutical, biological, chemical, or related industries.* Professional Expertise: + You must master segmentation processes and performance research by sourcing segments, and the definition and conduct of negotiation strategies. + Knowledge of the impact of products on Supply and financial processes is required. + You should also have mastery of the legal and regulatory environment related to sourcing segments and group budget processes.* Languages: Fluent English is key.* Other skills: You must be comfortable with ERP, have multicultural ease, and knowledge of AI would be a plus.* Relationships: You will have frequent interactions with operational departments related to your sourcing segment, the financial and legal departments, and functional responsibility over subsidiary sourcing teams for their segment.
