About Dioxycle Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals with unprecedented energy and cost efficiency. By displacing fossil fuels for the production of key chemicals, Dioxycle has the potential to ultimately reduce over 800 million tons of CO2 per year, representing over 2% of the world's emissions. At the core of our process is a novel "carbon electrolyzer", a machine capable of using just electricity and water to convert carbon emissions back into valuable everyday essential chemicals. Our team is innovating across chemical, mechanical and system engineering to turn carbon transformation into an economically feasible, industrial reality through this completely novel technological approach. Having completed our industrial-scale electrolyzer module pilot, we are now working towards a first-of-its-kind on-site deployment and are assembling key partnerships for future commercial roll-out. We operate from two centers in Paris and California (so whether you like outdoors or good food/art scenes on top of being passionate about hard tech and climate change fight, we have a location for you to join) Your Mission Dioxycle is seeking a highly talented and driven Procurement Manager to join our team at this pivotal phase of transition from in-house prototyping to commercial demonstration and roll-out. Partnering with the finance team and the engineering teams, you will lead be entrusted to build, own, and lead Dioxycle’s procurement strategy, playing a critical role in enabling rapid R&D iteration, cost control, and successful industrial scale-up. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around: Procurement strategy & execution: define and execute Dioxycle’s procurement strategy across R&D, pilot, and industrial-scale projects, from supplier selection to contract negotiation; Supplier sourcing & management: identify, qualify, and manage a global supplier base for equipment, components, raw materials, and services, building strong long-term partnerships; Cost, risk & timeline control: negotiate pricing and lead times, manage supply risks, and ensure procurement supports aggressive project timelines and budget constraints; Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with engineering, operations, and finance teams to anticipate needs, translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies, and support fast iteration cycles Effective Communication and Reporting: provide clear, timely, and structured updates on procurement activities, costs, risks, supplier performance, and timelines to management and project stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making. We seek a Procurement manager who is dedicated to advancing our mission and possesses the skills outlined below. Candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a candidate who is based in, or open to relocating, to Paris, France. Abilities and expertise we are looking for Strong experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in an industrial, engineering, or hardware environment (minimum of 5 years experience, but beyond that, proven track record, judgment & mindset matter more than years alone); Proven ability to source and negotiate complex technical equipment and services (CapEx-heavy environments are a strong plus); Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous start-up environments; Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a focus on total cost of ownership and risk management; Highly collaborative, pragmatic, and problem-solving oriented; Excited to work onsite in Paris (Saint-Ouen) full-time (occasional work from home): we are an industrial start-up who are all onsite everyday driving our super fast R&D iteration cycles through experimentation.
