Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Lead a high-performing local team of seasonal staff. Your approach is an empowering, trust-based leadership style with high autonomy.
  • Drive performance through clear objectives and regular feedback.
  • Actively support individual growth and skill expansion.
  • Foster a strong service culture and team engagement.
  • Lead through change and scaling phases.

Quality and Operations Management

  • Represent Emerald Stay locally.
  • Ensure quality and brand standards are maintained.
  • Ensure maintenance needs are met – you understand the technical ins and outs of a property and are comfortable developing a network of maintenance providers.
  • Manage relationships with key providers and partners – maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Develop new partnerships with local providers and partners.
  • Continuously share recommendations on the optimization of our operations.
  • Participate in property inspections prior to arrivals and post departures.
  • Participate in linen management and stock management.

Guest Relationship Management

  • Participate in guest visits.
  • Share local recommendations, in particular genuine and off-the-beaten path activities.
  • Ensure specific guest needs are met: VIP treatment, baby equipment requirement, etc.
  • Upsell services to guests.
  • Intervene in case of guest emergency, when situations escalated.

Owner Relations Management

  • Manage relationships with the owners in your destination, in close cooperation with our Barcelona team.
  • Integrate new signed properties in the Emerald Stay portfolio following our thorough property onboarding process, including an inventory creation, the coordination of a photoshoot, and much more.

Key Information on the Position

  • Employment start: August 2026.
  • Full-time permanent contract.
  • Private accommodation will be provided.
  • A computer and a professional cell phone will be provided.
  • A professional vehicle may be provided.
  • Access to our office in Morzine.
  • Work days and work hours may vary, we work in hospitality.

About You

We are looking for someone who will thrive in a dynamically changing environment.

The Must-haves

  • You are an entrepreneur at heart: you are not afraid of the unknown and you strive when things are challenging and require creative thinking as well as flexibility; you have a can‑do attitude and are not afraid to take ownership.
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing hospitality operations, in the premium segment.
  • You have a strong knowledge of Portes du Soleil and possibly an existing network there.
  • You love interacting with guests and all types of partners and can naturally establish great relationships with people – your interpersonal and team collaboration skills are excellent.
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have experience in managing team members and enjoy it.
  • You are comfortable speaking with HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals).
  • You are good at managing stress and do not get easily overwhelmed.
  • You are detail‑oriented, open‑minded and positive.
  • You can multitask and work in an independent way.
  • You speak and write French and English perfectly.
  • You have a strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

The Nice-to-haves

  • You have experience working at a fast-growing company and understand that your responsibilities will evolve quickly as the company grows.
  • You have a degree in hospitality management.
  • You have worked with Mews before, our Property Management System.
  • You are passionate about hospitality and innovation in the industry.
  • You speak any other language.
