Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager (f/m/d) for Regional Market Development in Molecular Biology and Sample Preparation. This role will report directly to the Director of BID Regional Market Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze regional market needs and customer requirements to influence global strategies effectively.
- Formulate localized strategies for the EMEA region and implement relevant marketing initiatives.
- Guide the team in executing local strategies, adjusting based on performance metrics.
- Serve as the regional liaison for global marketing and product management, conveying local customer insights and market trends.
- Exemplify our core values and demonstrate essential leadership skills.
Core Functions
- Lead and nurture the Molecular Biology and Sample Preparation team to achieve growth and revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and positivity to secure quick wins in a dynamic environment.
- Enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team and across broader partnerships.
- Mentor team members to help them realize their full potential and advance their careers.
- Utilize detailed analysis and regular performance reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee marketing performance reporting to regional and global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with RMDs to establish a regional strategy for product launches and pricing adjustments.
- Promote customer-centric marketing initiatives across various divisions.
- Conduct and implement market research programs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activities relevant to our product lines.
- Manage operational expense forecasting and budget responsibilities.
- Work closely with commercial teams to meet regional revenue objectives.
- Set revenue targets for new products based on local market dynamics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in marketing roles, ideally within the life sciences sector, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Experience in leadership roles is a plus.
