Role Overview
We collaborate with clients to ensure certainty and maximize their return on investment through effective program management, project and cost management, and project controls services.
Key Responsibilities
As we expand our European industrial operations, we are seeking an experienced Project Control Lead to assist in delivering complex, high-value projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with a remote team of cost managers to establish a market-tested cost baseline, ensuring value for money for clients.
- Guiding and influencing general contractors to maintain alignment with project schedules and cash flow parameters.
- Controlling costs through your expertise in conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, and procurement principles.
- Leading the change management process, ensuring effective tracking and approval of changes.
- Coordinating planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to develop the master project schedule, establishing baselines and critical paths.
- Understanding procurement principles to communicate material and equipment ordering priorities effectively.
- Maintaining close communication with the project team regarding changes and approvals in the change management process.
- Holding vendors accountable for timely schedule updates and ensuring adherence to defined processes and quality standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in project controls coordination throughout all project lifecycle phases, particularly in large, complex construction projects within the Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Life Science sectors. You should possess:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Flexibility for mobility, as projects may require travel away from the home office.
