Role Overview: Managing Partner - Energy

The Managing Partner is responsible for coordinating all SAP resources, utilizing the SAP partner ecosystem, and taking ownership of the shared long-term vision, strategy, and customer success objectives.
The Managing Partner will enhance customer lifetime value (CLTV) by expanding and cross-selling business solutions that deliver value, foster industry innovation, and yield flagship references from the customer's transformation journey. Through a dedicated focus on solution adoption, utilization, and value delivery, the Managing Partner ensures profitable total revenue growth and possesses the credibility to present SAP's innovative capabilities that leverage the existing SAP framework to address the customer's most intricate business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the account strategy, integrating Software, Cloud, Services, Support/Maintenance, Partners, and Channels (including OEM).

• Develop and implement a Digital Transformation 3-5 Year Roadmap, ensuring alignment of SAP's Virtual Account Team to achieve Business Outcomes.

• Cultivate long-term executive relationships, establish and manage a robust joint SAP-customer governance model, and ensure appropriate engagement of the SAP assigned executive sponsor.

• Drive Integrated Account Planning, ensuring the expansion of SAP's footprint with involvement from all relevant Lines of Business and strategic collaboration with System Integrator partners.

• Collaborate with the customer to institute a Strategic Customer Engagement Model that drives Bidirectional Strategic Road Maps.

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience in Sales or Consulting with complex business software/IT solutions, along with deep industry/domain expertise.

• Significant experience in Large Account Management and leading account teams.

• Industry knowledge in energy, natural resources, or oil & gas sectors.

• Familiarity with SAP's Service and Support offerings is advantageous.

• Strong background as a Partner or Global Account Manager at a System Integrator is preferred.

• Several years of experience in Business Consulting Management or Value Engineering.

• Proficiency in long-term resource, technology, and account structure planning.

Essential Skills:

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information in various environments, including presentations to CxO level.

• Knowledge of the financial and regulatory landscape.

• Fluency in English and French.

• Strategic thinker with a high degree of creativity and innovation.
