Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Verkor, a leading industrial company in the field of low-carbon battery manufacturing. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical parts and systems for our lithium-ion batteries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for our lithium-ion batteries, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical design with process design and ensure seamless product development.
  • Lead design reviews and validation activities to ensure mechanical components meet quality and safety standards.
  • Interface with suppliers to discuss technical and quality matters related to mechanical parts.
  • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and models to support product development and manufacturing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the module, electronics, or sheet metal industry.
  • Proven track record of driving projects from concept to production, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong skills in CAD software and statistical approaches to design and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
