About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Verkor. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the design process from concept to D sample, collaborating with stakeholders to validate and review designs.
  • Act as a mentor to junior mechanical cell design engineers, providing guidance and support.
  • Plan, direct, and follow up on project-related testing and industrialization activities.
  • Identify and meet special customer requirements related to mechanical design.
  • Lead design reviews, both internal and external, focusing on mechanical and cell structural analysis.
  • Ensure the integration of product design with process design.
  • Lead innovation and design for manufacturing projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, materials, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in module, electronics, or sheet metal industry, or 4 years in li-ion battery design.
  • Design experience in relevant cell formats.
