The role of Ceded Reinsurance Structuring and Analytics Lead is vital in shaping the Ceded Re Program Strategy and delivering analytical insights within the Ceded Re domain and among various stakeholders at AXA Group. In this capacity, you will be tasked with formulating the reinsurance strategy and crafting ceded programs specifically for Casualty and Professional product sectors. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Reinsurance Strategy Development

  • Engage with stakeholders to establish placement strategies
  • Contribute to the formulation of ceded guidelines

Designing Reinsurance Structures

  • Oversee the creation of ceded re treaty programs
  • Facilitate the decision-making process
  • Identify and propose options for reinsurance budget distribution

Analytical Responsibilities

  • Conduct scenario modeling and actuarial analyses
  • Perform evaluations of performance metrics
  • Establish processes and key performance indicators for reinsurance transactions

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, and finance teams
  • Coordinate with other Ceded Re teams and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure key stakeholders comprehend the ceded program

You will report directly to the Head of Structuring and Analytics. We seek a candidate with the following qualifications and expertise:

Professional Experience

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in reinsurance
  • Proven track record in evaluating, structuring, and pricing financial solutions

Technical Skills

  • In-depth understanding of insurance and reinsurance methodologies
  • Exceptional data analysis and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis software
  • Strong command of MS Office applications

Language Proficiency

Fluency in English is required.
