Underwriter Liability Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Liability team in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting profitable new and renewal business to meet Liability targets.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrite in line with the Liability governance framework to ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception.
- Manage referrals from underwriters and re-underwrite complex business as appropriate.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the regional Underwriting strategy for Liability.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with key producers and clients and other relevant stakeholders.
- Experience underwriting profitable business in the Liability segment of large corporate international insurance.
- Recognised relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level and established within the market.
- Specialised understanding of regional / local Liability insurance markets and multi-national programmes.
- Capable of leveraging data and analytics to make business more efficient and effective.
- Good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework.
- Able to design, develop and implement consistent, robust wordings for contracts.
- Fluent French language skills and conversational English language skills.
