Job Description

Job Title: VP Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a VP Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading finance for France and Belgium, partnering with our senior management team and working with external stakeholders at sports leagues and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage financial and commercial performance, delivering targets and enabling effective decision making.
  • Commercial Contract Management: Be the finance owner and expert on all commercial contracts, large-scale distribution deals, and rights agreements.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly financial reviews for divisional and central stakeholders, analyzing financial performance against benchmarks and highlighting risks, opportunities, and insights.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Influence and assist divisional management with respect to evaluating, negotiating, and contracting new opportunities and contracts, including financial modeling in alignment with best practice from the central financial modeling team.
  • Culture of Governance and Control: Play a lead role in the establishment and maintenance of a strong culture of governance and control across the business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with senior leadership in modeling pricing, proposition, and offers, and work closely with Group Finance to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of finance services to key finance and other management stakeholders impacting the P&L.

Requirements:

  • Senior Finance Experience: Senior-level experience with experience operating in senior finance positions.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and strategic/business acumen.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities, and experience managing and motivating a hardworking group of ambitious finance analysts/business partners to deliver effective business partnering to multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis Skills: Excellent financial modeling, quantitative, and data analysis skills.
