Job Title: VP Finance

DAZN is seeking an experienced and skilled VP Finance to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading finance for France and Belgium, partnering with our senior management team and working with external stakeholders at sports leagues and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial and commercial performance, delivering targets and enabling effective decision-making.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets across the P&L and operating cash flows.
  • Be the Finance owner and expert on all commercial contracts, large-scale Distribution deals, and Rights agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including distributors and rightsholders.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reviews for divisional and central stakeholders.
  • Influence and assist divisional management with respect to evaluating, negotiating, and contracting new opportunities and contracts.
  • Play a lead role in the establishment and maintenance of a strong culture of governance and control across the business.
You'll have:
  • Senior level experience with experience operating in senior finance positions.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives on key strategic decisions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities.
  • Proven experience of managing and motivating a hardworking group of ambitious finance analysts/business partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships.
  • Experience in a subscription business with a detailed understanding of acquisition, churn, and ARPU metrics.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic/business acumen.
  • Pro-active and have an ability to operate in ambiguous and changing situations with multiple (at times conflicting) stakeholders to deliver results to meet deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with great leadership skills.
  • Awareness and understanding of off and online marketing methodologies.
  • Excellent financial modelling, quantitative, and data analysis skills.
