Unilever is seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in France. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Job Purpose:The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the France Leadership Team on all aspects of corporate law, including competition law, business integrity, data privacy, anti-bribery, and governance. You will also be responsible for implementing and rolling out compliance and global legal corporate policies for the Ice Cream Business.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensuring compliance of all operations in France through effective business partnering to the France Leadership Team.
- Partnering the France Leadership team and support transformational projects.
- Implementing & rolling out compliance and global legal corporate policies for the Ice Cream Business.
- Advising on key legal risks for the Ice Cream Business and provide a strategy and plan.
- Advising on sales and route to market topics and projects.
- Managing any Ice Cream related litigation.
- Providing legal support for the Customer Service, Logistics, Finance teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Senior lawyer (+15 years' experience/PQE), experienced in corporate law, commercial & sales contracts, legal marketing activities, competition law.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to unyielding integrity and serving as a role model.
