Join Our Team as a Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Lydia Solutions. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and negotiating contracts for all aspects of Lydia's activity, including strategic partnerships and supplier agreements
  • Ensuring that all our products are properly framed from a legal point of view, particularly regarding our regulatory obligations
  • Providing legal guidance and developing solutions to product development and expansion
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to become a business partner and drive growth
  • Building processes and guidelines to facilitate legal compliance within the company
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • More than 5 years of PQE as in-house legal counsel
  • At least 5 years of experience in a financial and regulated environment, preferably in fintech or banking
  • A strong knowledge of banking and financial regulations
  • A pragmatic approach and ability to act as a true business partner
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment
Hiring Process

The hiring process will consist of three stages:

  • Interview with the Talent Acquisition team
  • Technical case
  • Interview with the Head of Legal
