About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our team in France. As a Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our business teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and support to our business teams on commercial and sales contracts, competition law, and factory support.
- Implement and roll-out compliance and global legal corporate policies for the Ice Cream Business.
- Advising on key legal risks for the Ice Cream Business and provide a strategy and plan including resourcing as to how this would be mitigated and managed.
- Collaborate with the European Legal team and the Corporate Centre on key projects and initiatives.
- Manage legal risks & reputation for operations in France by supervising any major crisis and/or litigations in relationship with Authorities (Competition, Consumer, Environmental, Data Protection Authorities amongst others) and Competitors.
- Senior lawyer (+15 years' experience/PQE) with experience in corporate law, commercial & sales contracts, legal marketing activities, competition law, factory support, issues management.
- Ability to assimilate information quickly, identify and articulate risks and provide pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
