BeXT provides tailored support to AWS Builders, amplifying their voices. In this role, you will work alongside AWS business leaders and other HR teams to innovate, implement, and execute HR strategies encompassing talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations, and other HR functions. Additionally, you will support our Builders and their leaders aligned with an AWS business line or region, leveraging HR expertise and empathy. To excel in this position, you will need a versatile skill set, including the ability to adapt to various scenarios using HR knowledge, consulting skills, and the capacity to connect broader objectives while delving into details, collaborating, and consulting across multiple teams, levels, and regions.
As a BeXT HR Business Partner, no two days will be alike, but a typical day may include the following responsibilities:
- Consult, coach, and develop leadership through empathetic and sound decision-making; collaborate on talent management processes, people development, performance management, compensation, and employee relations matters.
- Foster and exemplify an inclusive environment for all Builders.
- Advocate for Builders' needs through comprehensive experiences that ensure Builders feel fully engaged in their work and valued for their individuality.
- Exercise sound judgment, navigate ambiguity, and serve as the primary point of escalation for Builder concerns.
- Address Builder inquiries and situations with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon Policies and applying sound judgment as necessary.
- Actively encourage the adoption of technology and self-service options.
- Collaborate and influence various levels of the organization, from Builders to senior leaders.
- Conduct challenging workplace investigations in partnership with Builder Relations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to drive recommendations and prioritize in collaboration with HR or business leaders to contextualize decisions within the broader business framework.
- Thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and provide insights to the team and business.
- Experience and knowledge of Works Council.
