Job Responsibilities

We are expanding our Project Management team and seeking a Project Director to contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that Change and Training Leads adhere to approved methodologies, utilizing standard tools and techniques, while providing weekly and monthly status reports.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to Change and Training Leads as necessary.
  • Provide support and advice to Project Managers and Directors regarding change management methods and client engagement.
  • Collaborate regularly with regional Project Directors/VPs to ensure consistent application of methodologies that meet project requirements.
  • Participate in Project Steering Groups and internal project meetings as needed.
  • Establish effective relationships with senior stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Ensure that CMT staff are fully informed about all contractual and commercial aspects of client relationships.
  • Oversee the commitment of relevant staff to support Change Management methods and communicate risk alerts to client senior management.
  • Support Finance and Sales functions as required to facilitate business operations.
  • Communicate project updates and success stories to the regional Marketing team.
  • Act as Career Development Manager for Change Management and Training Leads.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable to the Regional Delivery Lead for assigned clients and for the performance of Regional Project Managers and Project Support teams.
  • Responsible for managing relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within client accounts.
  • Oversee the overall performance of delivery work within the client base.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and processes.
  • Maintain high standards for all commercial documents, including Work Orders, for the Executive Management team.

Key Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Change Management within complex projects, preferably ERP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate the introduction of new departments and methodologies.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage a Change Management & Training team effectively.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives.
  • Familiarity with structured Change Management methodologies and alignment with Hitachi's CMT strategy.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business operations.
