Role Overview
We are expanding our Project Management team and are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join us on our exciting journey and become part of the Hitachi Solutions family.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that Change and Training Leads adhere to the approved methodologies, including Change Management, utilizing standard tools and techniques, and providing weekly and monthly status reports.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Change and Training Leads as necessary.
- Offer support and advice to Project Managers and Directors regarding methodologies and senior client engagement in change management.
- Regularly communicate with regional Project Directors/VPs to ensure consistent application of methodologies that meet project requirements and internal standards.
- Participate in Project Steering Groups and internal project meetings as needed.
- Establish effective relationships with key senior stakeholders as appropriate.
- Ensure that Change Management Team staff are fully informed of all contractual and commercial aspects of each client, fostering a shared understanding of strategic elements.
- Provide high-level oversight to ensure commitment to the Change Management methodology and communicate clear risk alerts to client senior management.
- Support other functions, particularly Finance and Sales, as required to facilitate Hitachi's operations.
- Communicate relevant project updates and success stories to the regional Marketing team.
- Act as Career Development Manager for Change Management and Training Leads.
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable to the Regional Delivery Lead for assigned clients and for the performance of Regional Project Managers and Project Support teams.
- Responsible for a defined set of clients and all projects within those accounts, collaborating with the Account Director and Project Manager to ensure effective commercial management.
- Oversee the overall performance of all delivery work within the client base.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and processes.
- Maintain high standards for all commercial documents, including Work Orders, for the Executive Management team.
Key Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Change Management within complex projects (preferably ERP).
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate the introduction of new departments and methodologies.
- Ability to recruit, train, manage, and evaluate the performance of a Change Management & Training team.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives in both Hitachi and client organizations.
- Understanding of structured Change Management methodologies and alignment with Hitachi's chosen strategy.
- Commercially aware and business-savvy.
