Job Title: Senior Contract and Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract and Commercial Manager to join our team at AESC France. As a key member of our GID Purchasing Team, you will play a crucial role in procuring the necessary equipment and materials for our projects in the EU and the UK, with a focus on our French project in Douai.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for related construction services, engineering, and materials based on project construction plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and continuously source the best products and services for the business at reasonable prices.
  • Create and execute procurement strategies, including organizing bidding and tendering, vendor bidding and nomination, and managing vendor contracts and payments.
  • Rename business plans based on project adjustments and use SAP to manage PO/PR requirements.
  • Proactively seek cost-saving solutions to enable company industrial development and partner with suppliers and vendors globally to identify strategies for scaling second product development.
  • Coordinate and support global plant launch equipment and global direct material-related project issues.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Graduate studies in project management, business, and procurement qualification valued.
  • More than 8 years of experience in purchasing areas, part of MEP, Construction, or Facilities space, for large industrial construction projects ($100m+ capex).
  • Additional experience in project controls or construction management preferred.
  • Hi-tech, construction, and/or automotive industry experience.
  • Strategic Sourcing, Opportunity Analyses, and Contract Negotiations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills are a must.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with challenging timelines and goals.
  • Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learn.
  • Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution.
  • Driver's license.
