Export Control Directives and Methods Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Control Directives and Methods Manager to join our Commercial Aircraft business in Toulouse, France. As a key member of our Export Control Programme Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of our export control compliance programme.
The Export Control Programme Office is responsible for ensuring that our export control compliance programme is effective and reflective of changing laws and regulations. As Export Control Directives and Methods Manager, you will lead the development and maintenance of our export control directives and methods, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with our overall export control strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining export control directives and methods, ensuring they are compliant with EU and US regulations.
- Monitoring the lifecycle of our export control directives and methods, making improvements as needed to reflect regulatory changes and stakeholder feedback.
- Driving the cascade of requirements across our Airbus Business Management System (BMS), ensuring seamless integration with our Company organizations and processes.
- Leading the Directives and Methods Change Control Board, comprising representatives from export control divisions and affiliates, to review and update our export control directives and methods.
- Supporting the Export Control Compliance Programme and export control teams with regard to export control directives and methods, including training, digitalization, investigations, and risk assessment.

Your challenges:
- Ability to communicate and coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of export control, including EU and US regulations.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills to draft clear reports.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and involve others in consultations and decisions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, with regular international travel and on-site missions.
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic approach as a business partner.
- Fluent in English; understanding of French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
Your boarding pass:
- 6 years of professional experience in a multinational, industrial environment, with export control activities.
- Master's Degree.
- Project Management experience.
- Team working mindset and positive mindset.
This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
