Contract Manager

Airbus Constellations Satellites is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager (f/m) to join our Industrial Deployment department in Toulouse, France.
Your Mission:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual negotiations with suppliers, assessing requests, and proposing counter-terms to ensure timely closure of deals. This role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts to ensure clarity and legal compliance. Additionally, the Contract Manager will monitor contractual obligations, track performance, and address any issues that may arise during the contract term.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Provide procurement expertise to manage suppliers pre- and post-contract.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers to understand commercial and operational stakes and translate them into contracts.
- Offer proactive business and cost-effective advice to company functions in contract drafting, negotiation, administration, and claims management.
- Support deliver savings through a robust risk and issue management process.
- Implement and ensure best practice procurement processes are continually developed.
- Support company business activities through education, advice, structuring, contract drafting, and negotiation support.
- Ensure regular information and reporting to the company's legal function.
- Monitor contractual implementation of legal and regulatory changes and updates to the company, in cooperation with the company legal function to analyze their effects on Company business and advise contractual implications and solutions.
- Manage commercial aspects in support to the Supply Chain Managers (reconciliations, exclusions, discrepancies).
- Contractual reconciliations in the frame of supplier's operations & contractual clauses.
- Manage central agreements by maintaining a central register of contracts, pricing, details, and documents.
- Develop and maintain processes for contracts that are due for renewal and provide feedback on recommended action.
- Maintain all systems information with current and updated supply terms.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what's best for the company.
Your Profile/Experience:
- Personal skills:
Capacity to challenge stakeholders to offer the best contractual options, protecting Airbus position.
Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills.
Capacity to embrace change and be solution-oriented.
Languages: French and English (professional).
Technical Skills:Strong knowledge in Contract management.
Legal background.
Knowledge in tools: Office suite, SAP, Jira, MS Project.
10 years' successful experience in Contract management for complex program management.
