Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of purchasing assignments and managing a portfolio of EMS and ODM providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier selection processes for new projects
- Negotiate contracts, amendments, and terms and conditions with suppliers
- Manage and develop commercial relationships with suppliers
- Continuously improve supplier performance
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Manage escalations with suppliers, EMS, and ODM
- Promote Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's purchasing strategy and policy within the company
Requirements
- Graduate degree in engineering or business administration
- 5-10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry or electronics manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and drafting contracts
- Ability to work in complex situations and adapt to a multicultural environment
