About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all purchasing assignments are executed and completed in a timely manner to support the activities of the Business Division for which you are responsible.
Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- The supplier selection process for new projects
- Negotiating contracts, amendments and T&Cs with suppliers
- Managing and developing the commercial relationship with suppliers
- Continuous improvement of supplier performance
- Identifying commercial risks and taking appropriate action to manage them
- Managing escalations with suppliers, EMS and ODM
- Promoting Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's Purchasing strategy and policy within the company, including production transfers where necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing supplier relationships
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts
- Ability to work in complex situations
- Ability to learn from experience and modify behavior accordingly
