Cash Collector

SoftwareOne is seeking a highly skilled Cash Collector to join our dynamic Finance Team. As a Cash Collector, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth cash application processes, monitoring daily collections, and managing customer queries.
Key Responsibilities:- Responsible for French and International customers, with a focus on effective communication and follow-up via email and phone.
- Daily follow-up of cash collections, supporting and monitoring the Shared Service Center in charge of cash application.
- Collaborate with the sales department to ensure timely communication and follow-up on customer accounts.
- Weekly reporting to direct supervisor.
- Update the AR overdues database with accurate comments.
- Regular meetings with local sales teams to discuss escalation and dispute follow-up.
- Ensure invoices are correctly loaded into customer platforms with the support of the SSC.
- Send ad-hoc reminders or statements of accounts, in addition to automatic reminders.
- Internal and external customer interface.
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
- Participate in financial closing, including bad debt accrual.
- Propose write-off for uncollectable receivables.
- ~1+ years of high-volume corporate and public sector collections experience.
- Technical and/or professional education in an administrative business area related to finance and/or accounting.
- Knowledge of collections procedures.
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented.
- Experience with Navision a plus.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
