Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to support the growth of our Clinical Sequencing Division (CSD) European Sales team. As a Clinical Sr Account Manager, Sales, Belgium, you will be responsible for promoting our NGS clinical solutions to customers and driving successful adoption of the technology within various markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary promotion of NGS clinical solutions to customers, including academic medical centers, routine and pathology testing labs, and hospitals.
  • Drive successful adoption of the technology within all applied markets, investigating potential applications and solutions both pre-clinically and clinically.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline from initial contact to contract signing, achieving revenue targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate customer information through Thermo Fisher Scientific CRM (Sales Force).
  • Craft strategies and tactics for developing existing and new businesses in targeted accounts, protecting current base business, and growing market share.
  • Improve customer value and satisfaction through effectively aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with key Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborating partners, savant society, and key decision makers.
  • Sense of details and urgency approach to customer requests and issues.
  • Excellent business presentation, listening, and influencing skills.
  • Estimated 50/75% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, with relevant experience; or an MS degree in Life Sciences. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrable success in complex selling in the healthcare market (in vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical).
  • Proven experience in NGS sequencing and molecular biology.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
