Position Summary

The Global Product Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the entire product range of GROUPE EMINENCE across various brands and markets. This position is pivotal in defining strategic portfolio management, conducting market assessments, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with the company’s overarching business goals and consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Portfolio Development
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive product portfolio strategies that align with business objectives tailored to diverse markets and distribution channels.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to uncover opportunities for product innovation and portfolio enhancement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand management teams to establish long-term portfolio goals that bolster brand equity and market presence.
Product Lifecycle Oversight
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of products, from conception and development through to launch, growth, maturity, and eventual phase-out.
  • Ensure timely product updates and enhancements based on market insights and performance evaluations.
  • Strategically manage product discontinuations to minimize disruption to customer experience and revenue streams.
Market Insights & Segmentation
  • Utilize market research to identify customer segments and preferences, shaping the optimal product portfolio structure.
  • Analyze market dynamics to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Evaluate market opportunities and risks to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, R&D, and operations teams to synchronize product strategies with brand positioning and channel requirements.
  • Coordinate with design and development teams to ensure product features align with brand identity and consumer expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among departments to ensure cohesive execution of portfolio strategies.
Performance Evaluation & Reporting
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product portfolio and monitor performance against targets.
  • Analyze financial metrics and consumer feedback to evaluate product success and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management regarding portfolio performance and optimization strategies.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and market opportunities within the product portfolio.
  • Implement best practices for portfolio management, leveraging insights from industry trends.
  • Stay updated on industry developments that may influence the product portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in product management or portfolio management within the textile or apparel sector, particularly in intimate apparel.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
    • Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in market analysis and competitive intelligence.
