As a Senior Legal Counsel for Commercial Contracts at Ingenico Group, you will play a key role in providing legal support and guidance to key stakeholders in the EMEA region.
About the RoleYou will be part of the EMEA legal team, reporting to the EMEA General Counsel. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality legal services and risk management to support the business objectives in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Support the EMEA GC and the global legal team in delivering high-quality legal services and risk management.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their needs and objectives, providing commercially-focused advice and deliverables.
- Manage and mitigate risk through the enforcement of our Global Contracting Principles.
- Assist in defining our developing product offerings.
- Support the global procurement team to buy quality products and services.
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure we meet our legal obligations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in law and/or LLM.
- At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer with solid knowledge in IT contract law and commercial law, ideally in the payments ecosystem or fintech company.
- Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
- Business orientation, able to deliver commercially-focused advice.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and French.
