Electrical Engineer Internship

SuperGrid Institute is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team in the development of HVDC systems. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the advancement of energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a power flow calculation tool that models bipolar HVDC grids, considering independent pole and neutral physical quantities.
- Validate the developed tool against EMT simulation results.
- Extend the tool for contingency analysis, focusing on the N-1 criterion for system security.
- Implement optimization algorithms for control parameter sensitivity and security analysis.
- Document the developed tool with comprehensive user guidelines and provide tutorials.
Requirements:
- Master's or Engineering student (4th or 5th year) with a strong background in electrical engineering, power systems, and
- Good skills in high-level programming languages (Python, Matlab, etc.).
- Experience with EMT simulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVDC technology and power flow analysis is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Good level in English
