The Amazon EU SARL (FR) - D69 Payment Acceptance and Experience Team is responsible for how Amazon's customers pay on Amazon's sites and through Amazon's services in the European Union.
You will work with key players in the payments industry to deliver best-in-class customer payment experiences while driving innovation in the industry.
You will utilize your experience to establish and maintain relationships with policy makers, trade associations, and working groups to deliver enhanced payment experiences in the EU.
You will support internal stakeholders who rely on such relationships to achieve their business objectives and make recommendations on how to deliver effective engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor business goals and identify engagement requirements with policy makers or trade associations.
- Develop mechanisms to ensure efficient engagement (stakeholder management, heat maps) and build bridges between internal teams.
- Represent Amazon Payments Acceptance in relevant forums.
- Proactively work with internal teams to develop talking points ahead of engagement.
- Proactively create a feedback loop with internal business teams to flag risks or opportunities.
- Several years of experience in roles such as Program Management, Partner Management, or related areas in Europe.
- Track record of delivering strategic vision.
- Proven deep dive skills to understand drivers, risks, and opportunities, quantitatively or qualitatively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to regularly travel regionally in Europe and periodically to the US. Expected travel
