In this role, you will oversee the execution of all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives within a production facility or commercial sectors (offices, sales, warehouses). This includes establishing and reviewing protocols and regulations relevant to the site, validating HSE design in projects and modifications, and supporting established work processes to enhance HSE application and efficiency. Additionally, you will map all relevant legislation and internal standards, ensure continuous compliance, and manage relationships with legal entities and local authorities. You will uphold all HSE regulatory obligations for the facility.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Lead the implementation of all HSE programs and processes. Develop and build consensus on annual plans for facility-wide HSE initiatives. Plan, budget, and control the annual capital budget for HSE to facilitate the execution of the HSE strategy and adherence to all compliance standards. Provide HSE expertise for the facility/function regarding new projects and change management activities. Ensure that comprehensive risk assessments are conducted and follow-ups are implemented to minimize or eliminate accidents and asset losses that could harm employees, contractors, or visitors. Ensure that the right talent is in place through training, mentoring, and succession planning, while supporting the development and learning capabilities of Safety specialists. Ensure that facility standards comply with both company and governmental/community regulations. Ensure that training and coaching are conducted to foster a culture of safety excellence and to ensure that safety standards and awareness are well understood throughout the organization.Qualifications

Experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment Practitioner, preferably in a manufacturing or commercial setting. Proven experience in team management, change management, and project management. Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Experience with Health and Safety audits.Additional Information
