Role Overview

We are expanding our Consulting Services team and are seeking a Test Manager to contribute to our exciting projects and become an integral part of the Hitachi Vantara family.

The Test Manager will oversee a dedicated project, leading, guiding, and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of testing activities. This role involves formulating test strategies and plans for each testing phase and providing updates on testing progress.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure successful test delivery, supported by the Project Support team, with accountability to the Project Manager.
  2. Deliver testing within agreed timelines and maintain high-quality standards.
  3. Define test scope while adhering to established methodologies and project controls.
  4. Organize test meetings effectively and document minutes as necessary.
  5. Provide regular updates on test progress.
  6. Ensure that all work submitted by the test team meets the project's quality requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily testing activities to meet time, quality, and budget constraints.
  2. Develop Test Strategies and facilitate Test Workshops.
  3. Create Test Plans for various testing phases.
  4. Plan, delegate, monitor, and control all activities of the Test Team in line with the Test plan.
  5. Ensure adequate resources are allocated throughout all testing lifecycle phases.
  6. Follow the testing process and ensure acceptance of all deliverables and milestones.
  7. Serve as the primary contact for the Test Team, escalating issues or risks to the Project Team.
  8. Organize and manage Test Meetings efficiently.

Qualifications

Essential Competencies

  1. Strong leadership qualities; serve as a role model and mentor for the test team.
  2. Experience with established testing methodologies.
  3. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE is preferred.
  4. Experience in accessibility testing is advantageous.
  5. Structured, disciplined approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.
  7. Strong presentation skills.
  8. Proficient in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  9. Fluent in French and English, with a preference for candidates based in France.
