Product Trainer Job Description

At Maxi-Cosi, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Trainer to join our Export sales team. As a Product Trainer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing customer relationships and sell-out by improving product knowledge, storytelling, and selling skills of our sales team and distributors/retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the priorities of the Export department and our resellers, and develop training content to match Export KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with launching new products, changes in range or standards, and new resources to enable excellent deployment of any major change.
  • Contribute to the design of digital resources and training materials to ensure they are creative, educational, and adapted to many distributors.
  • Connect with stakeholders within Products and Marketing, and work closely with other Product Trainers in our European Sales Organization.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions mostly remotely for Export distributors and the sales team, and occasionally join the Export Manager on visits to key distributors.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions at trade or consumer fairs, and identify, train, and constitute a group of brand ambassadors within key distributors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or University degree in Business Administration or Sales/Marketing.
  • 5-10 years of relevant working experience in sales, retail, or training.
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Proficiency in digital tools (Teams, Zoom) and IT tools, social networks, and video editing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with good organizational skills.
  • Convincing personality with a can-do mentality.
  • Good communicator and connector.
  • Enthusiastic and effective presenter.
  • Passion for the products of Maxi-Cosi.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; optional proficiency in French and Spanish.
