About Us
At Amadeus Reservation (RES), we are at the forefront of developing sophisticated applications tailored for various Amadeus Business Units, including Airline, Travel Distribution, and Hospitality. Our focus is on delivering rich functionalities that enhance the travel experience.
We are actively engaged in the technological transformation of Amadeus, contributing to initiatives such as Nevio, Creation Platform, Mobility, and the evolving Universal Distribution. Our goal is to create modular, open, and reusable components utilizing a cloud-native architecture, emphasizing security, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Your Role
As an architect, you will spearhead the architectural vision for the RES ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include conducting architectural studies for our suite of applications, which are transitioning to the Azure public cloud, while new applications are being designed on a cloud-native stack.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure our solutions align with both functional and non-functional requirements. Key areas of focus will include FinOps and Security, where your expertise will be invaluable.
Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices to component teams, articulating design principles effectively. Your role will also involve participating in strategic studies at the company level, representing RES to help shape the technological vision.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in application design and development.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
