Job Description

MAPEI Corporation is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist to join our local manufacturing facility. In this role, you will work closely with the facility leadership team to develop and implement strategic business objectives and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include driving efficient HR processes, communicating strategic targets, and anticipating change to adapt daily processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  2. Communicate strategic targets and goals to employees and stakeholders.
  3. Anticipate and adapt to changing business conditions to ensure effective HR processes.
  4. Collaborate with the business to build common ways of working and share best practices.
  5. Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention.
  6. Maintain knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to employee management.
  7. Drive effective conflict resolutions and disciplinary-related issues.
  8. Manage the manufacturing workforce in all HR and business matters.
  9. Manage employee relations matters, including legal and compliance issues.
  10. Drive employee development initiatives and support recruiting processes.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. 7-10 years of experience in HR.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, strongly preferred.
  5. Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage tasks to completion on time.
  7. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  8. HRIS experience with ADP and Oracle HRIS a plus.
