Territory Sales Manager, Municipal

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to expand direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and strive to meet sales targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
  • Be the main point of contact for Customers, Consultant Engineers, Regulatory Agencies, Contractors and Representatives.
  • Be responsible for system sizing, pricing and commissions for all municipal systems.
  • Be responsible for all purchase orders, sales targets, tenders.
  • Identify any trends or issues that could affect the marketplace, while taking corrective action to achieve orders, bookings & funnel health goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective day to day operational relationships with channel partners, agents, OEM's within the assigned territory.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a territory utilizing a CRM including planning, forecasting, managing and implementing sales plans.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Technical and/or Sales experience.
  • Capability to travel via car or plane within territory for significant portions of each fiscal year.
  • It'd be a bonus if you have experience working with municipal partners or with the water industry.

  • The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
