National Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Business Development Manager to join our team at Edwards & Pearce. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and exceeding sales targets through the acquisition of new revenue in our target markets.
The Role:- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Travel across the UK to visit customers and prospects, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Act as the point of escalation for any commercial or operational issues, providing solutions and support to customers.
- Deliver agreed KPIs and objectives, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals.
- Generate strategic relationships with key individuals within the customer base, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Work closely with the estimating and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver high-quality service.
- Prepare sales plans, pipelines, and CRM reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Extensive experience in sales, with a proven track record of driving business growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent solution sales skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Knowledge of the packaging and label industry supply chain, with a deep understanding of the market and its trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized and proactive, with strong planning and time management skills.
- Able to build relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, with a strong network of contacts and relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate complex deals and agreements.
- Confident in Microsoft 365/Office Packages, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
