Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Endpoint Security Solutions Architect to fortify our security framework. This position is essential for devising, executing, and overseeing comprehensive strategies that safeguard our network and sensitive information against advanced threats. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of endpoint security technologies, the evolving threat landscape, and industry best practices for endpoint defense and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Security Strategy: Formulate and uphold a comprehensive endpoint security strategy that aligns with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements. This includes establishing standards for endpoint protection, detection, and response.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement endpoint security solutions throughout the organization, incorporating antivirus, anti-malware, endpoint management solutions (such as Intune and Tanium), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Policy and Configuration Management: Develop and oversee security policies and configurations for endpoint devices, ensuring their effective application to maintain compliance and security posture.
- Threat Detection and Response: Monitor endpoint security systems for indications of malicious activities. Lead incident response for security incidents related to endpoints, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular assessments of endpoint vulnerabilities. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely patching and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Security Awareness and Training: Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on best practices for endpoint security and threat awareness, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate with other cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure a unified security strategy. Prepare and present reports on endpoint security status, incidents, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on endpoint security architecture and engineering.
- Thorough understanding of endpoint security technologies (antivirus, anti-malware, EDR, Microsoft Intune, Tanium) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS).
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and vulnerability management tools.
- Strong grasp of the cyber threat landscape and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed by threat actors.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing complex security incidents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and convey complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
