The Role: Technical Production Improvement Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Production Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our production processes and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Analyze recurring production issues, implement action plans for resolution, and conduct technological research to stay abreast of industry advancements.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects related to production improvement, proposing innovative solutions and managing resources effectively.
- Training & Development: Deliver training programs and develop educational materials to enhance the technical skills of our team members.
- Performance Analysis: Diagnose the performance of existing production systems, analyze standard times, and design key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency.
- Quality Assurance Support: Ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulations, update documentation, and monitor quality indicators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics, automation, electricity, and fluid systems (water, compressed air, nitrogen, steam).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
