Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and talented Art Director to lead our game's visual quality to industry-leading standards. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with Product, Tech, and Marketing teams to achieve the highest level of visual quality and player experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a cohesive art direction that aligns with the game's creative goals and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of artists to produce high-quality work, mentor emerging leaders, and provide guidance throughout the development process.
- Direct the development of gameplay assets, characters, and environments from concept to final implementation, ensuring artistic cohesion and technical compatibility.
- Create and maintain visual documentation, such as style guides and brand guidelines, to ensure alignment on artistic decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to push the boundaries within the puzzle arcade genre and enhance the game's artistic value.
- 5+ years of experience in game art pipelines, with a proven track record of expertise.
- Proficiency in key software, such as Adobe Suite, Blender, and Unity, and UI/UX design experience for mobile games.
- Knowledge of optimizing for mobile performance, including textures and shaders.
- Experience with real-time rendering, procedural art, and knowledge of VFX, AR/VR, or scripting is a plus.
- Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and adaptability under constraints, with high attention to detail and quality standards.
- Excellent communication with creatives and stakeholders.
- Passion for gaming and understanding player experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and cross-cultural experience.
- Portfolio with shipped mobile titles.
