Medium Voltage Power Electronics Testing Engineer

Join Schneider Electric as a Medium Voltage Power Electronics Testing Engineer. In this role, you will be part of our Power Systems and Services division, dedicated to advancing the design and development of Medium Voltage products.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies and protocols for modular multi-level medium voltage power electronics systems.
- Interpret and analyze test requirements from applicable standards, preparing the necessary test setups.
- Design and implement testing configurations for the validation and verification of power electronic components and systems.
- Conduct a variety of tests, including performance, reliability, environmental, and safety assessments.
- Evaluate test outcomes and generate detailed analytical reports.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure testing strategies align with product specifications.
- Identify and resolve issues within power electronic systems, recommending design enhancements.
- Stay informed on industry standards and best practices in power electronics testing.
Your Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is required. You should have a minimum of three years of proven experience in testing medium voltage power electronics systems, with a solid understanding of specific testing norms.
Your Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of power electronics principles and components.
- Proficient in utilizing testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations governing power electronics testing.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
